New machine
design.
The
Challenge
To design and build a machine guard which
incorporated automated sliding doors on the front face of the guard that were
supported by aluminum extrusion — the customer requested a series of four
steel posts.
The
Solution
A pneumatic rodless cylinder (with profile rail
and bearing) mounted to the inside of the front face of the guard used in
conjunction with our standard roller guide extrusion and related slider
assembly.
